Focused on Europe’s migrant crisis and finding solutions to bring together the local community with the newcomers, as racist issues run deep. We host skate sessions for local kids and aim to bring them together with the kids from the refugee centers through games and fun. We belive racism is learned and can be unlearned.
Through skateboarding and longboarding sessions, we bring together both communities, native and refugee, to break down the stigma barriers and teach them, through games and fun, that we’re all humans.
We tend to fear what we don’t know but when we get close, the fear vanishes and we can build from love, empathy and understanding.
We want to give these kids that have gone through extremely traumatic experiences by circumstances beyond their control, the opportunity to build a new life and thrive without having to live with stigma or isolated due to their temporary refugee status.
Through their children experiences, native parents also unlearn many of the prejudice they may carry and open up to welcome and integrate the newcomers.
